I almost never leave online reviews, but The Langham, New York, absolutely deserves one. The location is perfect—just a few steps from the Empire State Building and an easy 15-minute walk to the MoMA and New York Public Library. You're also right next to shops, pharmacies, and supermarkets, which made everything super convenient. The service was truly outstanding. In-room dining was always on time, and the food was top quality—fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Housekeeping was also incredibly respectful and never disturbed us when the "Privacy" sign was on the door. What impressed me most was the staff’s attentiveness. One night, due to a 14-hour time difference, we needed some documents printed at 1:30 a.m. One quick call and the documents were quietly slipped under our door—offering both single and double-sided options. Incredible service. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to New York. The best place to stay on 5th Avenue!

Perfect Family Stay – Truly Five-Star We stayed at The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue with our family and had two rooms. From the very start, everything was taken care of with true five-star service. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail — we felt looked after from the moment we arrived. Both rooms were spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean. The comfort level was outstanding — high-quality beds, luxurious bathrooms, and a calm, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day in the city. Traveling with family can be hectic, but The Langham made it effortless. Everyone in our group, from the youngest to the oldest, was truly happy with the experience. The service was consistent and flawless, and the in-room dining was excellent — a real treat after long days out. It’s rare to find a hotel that gets everything right, but The Langham absolutely did. We’d return in a heartbeat — highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and top-tier hospitality in New York.

Central location within walking distance of many major attractions. Extremely comfortable beds/bedding. Spacious bathroom and bath. Friendly, smart staff who didn't try to desperately earn tips or be overly attentive. Lovely decor and style, including festive decorations. Cleaners are extremely efficient and do a turn-down service every evening. Free coffee/tea/warm cider was provided each morning in the lobby. Thick, cosy bath robes and towels. High-quality toiletries. Great views from our rooms. Complimentary "welcome treats" offered to kickstart our birthday celebrations.

We truly had a fantastic experience during our stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily reach all the main attractions and explore the city without any difficulties. Everything we wanted to see was just a short distance away. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

The hotel felt so welcoming instantly and was a great space after a busy hectic New York day. The suite we got for the family was incredible and so spacious- our kids said it was the best place they had stayed! Staff wonderful and everything clean and tidy. I loved the turn down in the evenings which was very welcomed. Location wise you’re central so easy enough to get anywhere.
